Learn the Daily Eye Exercises to Support the Eyes

Last week we learned that the liver, kidney and stomach meridians govern our eye health and how each is associated with our eyes. During a recent workshop on the eyes, I was asked how much time it takes to do all these exercises. Literally if you do the 5 minute routine regularly, it only takes 5 minutes after you have learned it. It takes about 5 minutes to do the eye exercises—so that is a total of 10 minutes per day to begin to see shifts. However, it will take longer when you first start to do these exercises, because they are new! Then I was asked, but is it worth it? The student who improved her vision in 4 months got a free eye exam when she was told she needed a stronger prescription. Being a tenacious woman, she stated if she improved her eyesight in 4 months with energy exercises, he would t provide a free exam. If there was no change, she would pay but if the vision improved the exam was free. Initially telling her no, she persisted and finally he reluctantly and with utmost skepticisms, agreed. Cover the Eyes. Place your hands on your thighs, then rub them together and shake them off. Place the hand over the eyes with fingertips of both hands touching so that your little finger is parallel to the floor. Take 2 breaths. Pull the hands to the temples. Inhale. On exhale and with pressure, pull the fingers around behind the ears, down the back of the neck and rest on the shoulders while you push in with fingertips. Take 2 breaths. Bring your hands to the front of the body and cross your arms over the shoulders giving yourself a hug. With pressure, Pull the arms down the front of the body, the front of the legs and pinch the bunions on both sides of the feet. Bring the palm side of the flattened hands from the big toe up the inside of the legs, to the armpits and then sweep the open palms down the side of the body off the waist!
